Superfine Film was founded in Bangkok in 2013, on two decades of regional commercial work for brands and agencies across Asia and Europe. Today the company is a licensed local coordinator with the Thailand Film Office for productions arriving from abroad — with our sister studio, Studiology, and camera, grip and lighting from our partner Brandlink — and produces one of the longest-running daily documentary strands on Thai television. That same crew and infrastructure now stands behind our first features, developed in Thailand for international audiences.
Chieng Taveepon
Chieng founded Superfine Film in 2013 after a decade of regional commercial work — at Matching Studio and as a freelance director — that had already won at Adman (Thailand), MC2 (Malaysia) and Citra Pariwara (Indonesia). He still directs: Haribo, Breeze, Scott, Grab and Alibaba among the recent work. His first features — Scent of Silence, and the horror film PRAI with co-director Eakasit Thairaat — are in development.
Anyarat Pipat
Film spent thirteen years on international productions — features including The Hangover Part II, Shanghai, Oba: The Last Samurai and Final Recipe, and commercials for Pantene, Etihad and CanalSat — before producing commercials at Matching Studio. She joined Superfine Film in 2017 as executive producer, runs production on our commercials and on Jodmaihet Krungsri, and led Jodmaihet Kids from its Thai Media Fund grant in 2024 through delivery in 2025.
Busaba Joongjai
Busaba has managed the finances of companies across many industries for more than thirty years. She oversees our accounts, budgets and reporting, and has been the team’s senior adviser from the start — the steady hand behind every production’s numbers.
Priyarin Priyaphatwattana
Priyarin has been with Superfine Film since day one. She handles invoices, payments and paperwork for every production and keeps the office running — hardworking, meticulous, and the reason nothing slips through the cracks.
